Simple, delicious, classic stuffing is the best. I am afraid to try any other kind, because it is quintessential Thanksgiving to me.

Thank you for sharing this. Beautiful. I see your mother working so hard for her family, like mine did when she went out to waitress at night and came back smelling like booze, cigarettes,and cash. We oldest daughters were both blessed and cursed. Now we are the oldest generation and how will the young ones remember us? Time will tell.

Hi Anne! Thanks so much for reading my piece. I’m always writing in the dark so to speak and am so appreciative when someone takes the time to read and send me a message. As for being remembered, that’s why I’m writing these. So my kids and grandkids will know me after I’m gone.
