Thank you Lynn for including me in OPKs! It’s been a wonderful exercise to curate the most important things- both practical and inspiring. When I’m not sure what to cook, I often grab a beautiful green glazed gratin dish and imagine what would look beautiful in it. So decorative yes, but instructional, too!
You’re welcome, Kate. Thank you so much for allowing us into your kitchen and learning a little about your life in France. The OPk is one of my favourite features to do. It fills me with inspiration and is another way to make a personal connection with people.
Thank you, Kate, for this in-depth look into your environment. I traveled through the beautiful Lot-et-Garonne region a few years back and have such fond memories of it—especially of the local cattle breeds like Limousin, Salers, and Aubrac (I particularly enjoyed the taste of that last one). Your post sparked my wanderlust again and reminded me how much I long for road trips and the joy of exploring regional culture, food, and drink. Thank you for bringing back those beautiful memories of my time in the Lot!
Very inspiring - and love her beautiful kitchen! Am busy thinking about where I can squirrel away the things I don’t use often - am not at my best actually getting rid of things..

I love this series, and Katels kitchen is a dream! Those tile floors have me most of all.
