Good for you making things work even with limited space. It's so key to keep things organized (something I'm not always the best at) and I'm with you on keeping anything that's open clean enough. What an interesting read!
Absolutely! I also wanted to add that a galley kitchen is wonderful for *flow state cooking* - just a turn here or there when you know where everything is! (I'm a fan if you can't tell..)
Love your plug for cast iron cookware! One of our prized pieces is a Japanese kama - it's traditionally used to cook rice, but we also make soups and stews in it. We got that from Iwachu, but Lodge makes excellent pans too, at very reasonable prices.
I love your photography set up!
thanks rachel! i make it work even though i do sometimes wish i had something a bit more stable lol
Damn this is good! Love shelves instead of cupboards. Natural lighting in food photog is key ❤️
agreed. will do anything for that light!
what a great profile...felt like having tea in your kitchen
thanks ellen, love that feedback!
The tiniest kitchen I’ve seen so far and the only one I’ve felt inspired to subscribe to. Less is more hey?
What a charming read! Your food photography is gorgeous (food too!)
thanks so much Sheryl!

yeah for sure! convenient to have everything close and limit moving around the kitchen too much
ooh this was a lovely read! i love seeing small but well used kitchens and yours is gorgeous
thanks josie! i do love a small kitchen as well, something about it just feels right

Oh yeah, in Japanese families, they're usually passed down from one generation to the next ☺️.
i love that!
